I frequent a lot of different sites around the internet… tutorial sites, blogs, etc. One thing i notice on a large majority of sites are those little square “ad spaces” on the side of the page… go ahead and look to your right… i have some on my site. I don’t have any issue with them and that’s not what this post is about.
Recently the homegroup that my girlfriend and i are a part of, took a trip down to The Poverello House. It’s a local organization here in Fresno, CA that helps the hungry and homeless. The member of our group who organized the trip was unable to head down there with us, due to her work schedule, and asked for our feedback from the experience. I wanted to share my girlfriend, Jen’s thoughts and response.
So… this morning, a friend of mine… someone i am still getting to know, posted something on Facebook that upon reading led to a quick roll of the eyes. Yes… i engaged in the ever so mature action of rolling my eyes.
What was this bit of text on screen that warranted a roll of my eyes?
Probably something ridiculous, right?
So… as i went to sleep last night listening to everyone rant about the passing of the healthcare bill and then awoke to much of the same, i am reminded of a lyric from a Derek Webb song…
